MSJ, MSN program-Ohio Mount St. Joseph

Published

Hello, looking for updated information if anyone has attended the Mounts MSN direct entry program. All of the other threads are a little older. I have applied for the May 18 cohort, looking for advice on classes, houses, materials, etc.

Thanks

After much thought and discussion, I decided I'll move forward and join the May cohort í ½í¸ just need to get this deposit together!

I'm surprised more people haven't shown up in this thread though...

Yea I am surprised too, honestly. I think I will make a FB group after the January start maybe someone will find it..

Yea, don't worry about the deposit, I just paid mine this past Monday, and I got my letter of acceptance in August. So don't feel bad, they understand we have obligations, and everyone cant do it in 4 weeks. I did ask for an extension.

Awesome, sounds good! Already checking out apartments in the area! :)

Starting in the Spring semester too. Pls link me up with anyone starting in Spring or already in the program

Hello! Yea, hopefully more people will find the thread. I will be there forsure.

For anyone starting in the May 18 cohort I have started a FB group to help us all get acquainted prior to starting the program. I know some people, like myself will be looking for housing in Cincy - so this will help people find roommates too! FB Group: Magelin May 18 Cohort

@stunter if you have FB join the group

Which ones are you checking out? Are you looking for a roommate or living alone?

Definitely looking for a roommate! So I've been looking at both apartments and rooms for rent

Hey everyone I graduated from the Magelin program in '16, can't believe it's been almost 2 years, I'm an RN working at Ohio State U Wexner Med. Center, I promised myself I would come back periodically to answer questions. Since, I had so much fear about the program when I started, I don't regret picking the program at all, and count it as one of my smartest decisions.
