Hi! Congrats on your acceptance!!Hope go meet you soon! Not many people have joined the FB group, I am asssuming it will be utilized more once we start the program. We also had some people move cohorts, so they're in the group but not starting until August. Just log on to FB and search Magelin May 18. Cohort- it's the same a searching for a persons page. Let me know if you still have trouble!

There's about 3-4 books from the bundle that we will use, that came from the nursing department. That's why I was conflicted about renting. I may consider for next semester.

Hi All, What's your take on books for first semester in nursing school, specifically, did you rent, or purchase books? I am not sure if I should just purchase the bundle, or try to buy each book individually. I would like to get a perspective from someone who rented! I rented during undergrad, but not sure if it'll be best to rent with nursing books, since we will need some of our books for future semesters.

Hello, Could those of you who have applied for the GRAD plus loan share your experiences? I am entering an accelerated direct entry MSN program, and worried about getting my application approved. I don't have great credit, I'm above 600, but not high. Have any of you been denied? I am hoping to be able to apply without a co-signer.

Yes, by the end of this week, however I don't know if that's based on my state-- you should be receiving it soon.

Yea, I don't think it's a big deal or anything. I didn't get anything regarding Magelin directly. I called Financial Aid to find out when award letters would be sent, because I still have not received one, and I wanted to know when to apply for the grad plus loan.

Are you starting in May? I Contacted Financial Aid and they showed me where to find the schedule- the schedule was not sent via email. I logged into "My mount account">finances>view statement The email I received says something about registering for the student account.

I have not. I talk frequently to Jenny Gross in Financial Aid (513)244-4418 she has been very helpful. Dr. Glankler will be sending out an email at the end of this month with more information if you're starting in the May cohort.
