Aug 30, 20178 yr Hello, looking for updated information if anyone has attended the Mounts MSN direct entry program. All of the other threads are a little older. I have applied for the May 18 cohort, looking for advice on classes, houses, materials, etc. Thanks
Oct 4, 20178 yr You too! Were you able to find any other MSJ threads? I feel like I've only been seeing older posts...
Oct 4, 20178 yr Author Nope , no luck . I've been waiting on response lol .. I received my acceptance, I finished my Fafsa yesterday, still looking for scholarships... do you know if you'll be on campus or off ?
Oct 4, 20178 yr Most likely off-campus. I heard the housing is affordable out there. I'm not sure about on-campus housing, however...
Oct 4, 20178 yr Author Thank you! Yes I saw housing was pretty affordable.. so that's cool . Hopefully once more people get accepted they'll look for threads or a FB group or something I'll have to get a room mate
Oct 4, 20178 yr Yeah same here if I attend! How long did it take for them to contact you with your admission decision?
Oct 4, 20178 yr Author Not long at all.. my situation was a little different though I was accepted before and deferred for two years so it was escalated a little. I'd say 2-4 weeks it may take.
Oct 5, 20178 yr Oh I understand. I'll be taking pathophysiology in the spring to complete my prereqs, how was the class for you?
Oct 5, 20178 yr Author I am taking it now.. it's not the easiest for me .. I've been out of school for two years now and I've had to refresh on a lot especially the heart. A lot of information to take it.. good luck!! If you remember try reading your assigned chapters before class and stay on top of it, that way during lecture if there's spots you struggled understanding the concepts you can address with the professor at that time..
