I am in anatomy right now.........I live a ways away from where I go to school. It will be impossible for me to go into lab, other than my actual lab classroom time. In your opinion, can I learn enough from pictures and the internet to do well or would buying a Mr Thrifty skeleton benefit me?
If I can do as well without him, I'll gladly save the cash..............but if it would really help and make a big difference, I'm willing to buy one.
Thank you for your input!!!
Thanks for all the suggestions! Unfortunately, I am a full-time working mom of 2 and live far away from the school. The open lab hours are quite limited so it's almost impossible for me to get in there.
Do you have a high school nearby? You might be able to talk to the teachers in the science department and see if you could come in after the kids leave and look at theirs.
That's actually a very good idea..........I never would have thought of that! Thanks for the suggestion!!
You don't need to go to open lab. I was only in lab when lab was in session. In fact I don't even recall my school ever having open labs. But here are 2 websites that were invaluable to me when I was taking A&P:

If you live far away, I would consider going early or staying afterwards to make use of the models. The lab at my school is open until 10 pm.
