MPAC CPNE update

just wanted to let y'all know that the mpac is now scheduling for the first week of june and some are testing in december but most have been shifted to january...i continue to wait i applied in july....i just want a date something to look forward to ya know....

who else is waiting on the mpac?:wink2:

I requested to be scheduled in February, so that might be why. I am crazy in the frontoparietotemporooccipital region--why do I want to drive from Iowa to Wisconsin in February again?

I called maybe 3 weeks ago when they were scheduling the second week of May people and asked to be put in February. She said she didn't have the February CPNE schedules done yet or she would have just put me in there. Apparently I was probably going to be up for a date in January. Anyway, at the time of the call I was able to indicate that I would go to the Milwaukee and Janesville sites. The application only had listed Racine and Madison when I applied in May. Heck, all of them are within driving distance, so why not?

Man, I had forgotten how tedious those waits were. Hang in there, guys.

I know, isn't it awful?? I remember tantrumming quietly a few times -- "I want my date! I just WANT MY DATE!" LOL!! I'm such a deadline-driven person, so the "not knowing" was so tough for me.

(Then I got my date, and it was "OMG, too soon, too soon!" :D)

i really don't care when it is (as long as it is next year some time) but i need a goal to reach for...

i actually called them and got my date over the phone ... omg, i thought i was going to faint. lol. they were just about to my application in the queue, so the lady i spoke with was like, "well, let's get you scheduled, then." *hyperventilation* :D then she offered my the date that was my birthday, and i cracked up. :) and took it, of course!

some people get emails, but i never did -- however, they did update my cpne app status page about 2 minutes after i got off the phone with them. i've also heard some people say they got phone calls, but they were usually getting called with a cancellation date, and i wasn't interested in a cancellation date -- i wanted the time to study! it all worked out. :)

i got an email stating my date and location for mpac. then i got a notification in the mail a couple days after that.
