Howdy,
I am moving to Chandler this summer because my wife got a teaching job in Coolidge. what are some good hospitals in the area? i applied to St Luke's Medical Center and my uncle who works at Mayo in Scottsdale said that it is one of the worst hospitals and that I should not get a job there. I am getting frustrated because I have 1 years of long term care experience and 1 year of ER experience along with ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and CPI. I would think that I would not be treated as a new grad anymore but I get the same old sob story. we are sorry but you don't have enough experience. apparently 3 years of experience is the new standard. If anyone could offer some advice that would be great. Thanks

When was the last time your uncle looked for a job? It is very difficult to be that selective now. I would take a job from whoever offers it and continue looking if you are not happy.

Try all of them including Banner, who have a good rap, also Mountainview out by Apache Junction[brand new and beautiful hospital] hirer's name is ---- [administrator] or Scotsadale full of beautiful medical centers, and all modern and high tech; now what are all those fancy terms you are using for the beneifit of an Irish nurse who is:idea: searching for work in the usa.

Banner is amazing, Mercy Gilbert is good too I've heard. I've worked for Banner for the past 5 years and love my job!! Best of luck!
Hi There, If you are willing to travel up the I-60 there iare a couple of brand spanking new state of the art Hospitals on Higley just west of the freeway , you'll see it, I beleive it is called the Mesa Mdicl center, and a liittle further at APACHE JUNCTION on southern from the I=60 you have the breand new Mountainview Hospital , both are ususally hiring , and the head of staffing at Mountain view is a lady called Susan Daugleny, I think, maybe i have got the last name spelling wrong. Then you can also try the Phoenix Childrens on 3rd st and if your expertise is Pedia,,,,,,, .There are many hiring , and give a scottsdale a look also, snce it is not far away from you . Best of luck. If you are planning on living near Coolidge:
Florence hospital is down there and opening in December
http://www.florencehospital.com/
(It is a sister hospital to Gilbert :http://www.GilbertER.com)
Casa Grande is close by and their hospital has openings

In the Chandler Area, Mercy Gilbert is good & is connected to St.Joe's in Phoenix :)
Not as many nursing jobs there right now.

Chandler Regional is a great hospital to work for, great benefits, coworkers, administration, etc. I work on a tele floor and I am sure that you would be qualified with your experience. Mercy Gilbert is one of our sister hospitals and is just outside of the city of Chandler. www.chwcareers.org

Where exactly are they hiring in Scottsdale? Not anywhere I have applied, and I have 20 yrs experience.
