Hi. I am a registered nurse in MI USA. Really hate some of the things going on in government right now and depending on results of 2020 election husband and I may want to relocate to Nova Scotia. I am currently working on my BSN online and have an associate degree. What would I need to do to obtain licensure in Canada?

Starting point would be www.nscn.ca and requirements for nurse trained outside of Canada. NNAS would also be involved. Process long and expensive

We usually don't see this type of post until the candidates have been selected down south! If X gets elected we're moving to Canada!!!!!
And we never hear back if they manage to migrate north.

Finish your BSN and then apply to the NNAS

We d love to have you here. Nova Scotia is beautiful, and very friendly. Social justice and welfare for our communities is really important to many people here.
Sounds like what I am looking for. I am 55 though and I have heard that they want skilled immigrants to be younger.

There are different routes but if US citizen TN visa may be the better route and from there you should be able to apply for PR. Suggest checking CIC for the different routes
