Mountain View Spring 2020 application.

Published

Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.

From the information session, it will be two years. Spring/Fall2020 & Spring/Fall2021.

We'll have summers off? Any idea?

Wow so we should be finished December, 2021

I need advice.

I have an interview with brookhaven. Say I get accepted . I will have the option in choosing between mv and brookhaven.

Brookhaven

16 month program,30-45min drive,no summers off .. would finish am assuming that summer 2021

Mv

24 month program ,15 min away ,summers off

Would Finnish dec 2021

Keep in mind I have 3 kiddos

What would u choose?

Will you be working ? It depends on how soon you want to finish school. I would choose mvc bc it would be less intense. I could work a lot during the summer to pay off bills and save money so I can focus on school.

I declined my Brookhaven interview..

I definitely think you can do it, my supervisor went there and she worked full time plus overtime, had 4 kids and she said it rough but definitely doable. I was going to apply but didn’t do the dosage calculations test.

Considering going part time.

I just dont want my kids to feel neglected. Summer we always take a vacay even though I know they support me regardless of the decision I make.

I am really leaning toward mcv.

I want to finish Asap considering am 31 already. (Feeling old)

I’d choose Brookhaven. Can’t beat that 16 months.
but it all depends on your needs. Make a pros and cons list

The pros with MVC I personally would've taken into account is the fact that: 1. Travel time is half of the alternative (this is a significant hit on gas, time, and vehicle milage); 2. The longer time to complete can be advantageous, more time to master the material, and the summer break is awsome for time off to take the edge off or spend time your 3 kids; and 3. Compare and contrast the stats of the two schools, i.e., INCLEX pass rate, graduation rate, and overall quality of the two schools respectively.
