Hi! I am applying to Mountain view`s Adn program. I'm curious to know how many people are applying and how many points you have? This program is new so there aren't many blogs available. Anyone who was accepted last semester feel free to give any tips. Thanks in advance.

I have a question, what happens if you don't attend the information session? How would they know you did not

You have to sign in when you get there. The nurse advisor at MVC said it is mandatory that you attend a session before applying to the program....

I was accepted to MVC for fall 14!! Just wanted to see if anyone else was so we could prepare together and maybe get to know each. Congrats to everyone who got in!! See y'all in the fall

I had 21, and wasnt really expecting to get in so I was very excited. I also applied to El Centro but Mountainview was my first choice. El Centro is having a lot of issues with the new curriculum, so I am relieved. When I turned in my app only 34 had applied including myself so maybe they just had a low number. Good Luck to you! I would suggest taking the hesi as many times as possible until you get your score you want and you should be good to go! Hopefully I'll see you in a later semester

i took HESI and did not do well on AP like I expected So I will have to do it again. I will be be at nurse session at mvc tuesday for info session. and i am enrolled in patho there. Have u taking that? If so, ho wwas it? kinda worried

Does MVC require a interview before acceptance?

Dont be discouraged about the Hesi. From experience, my best advice is to write down as many as the ap questions as you can remember and memorize them. When you go back to take it the second time, it will be the SAME test. Thats how I scored so well on mine. I took patho through el centro online during a minimester. It was hard, but very doable. No there was no interview. They just emailed saying whether you were accepted or not. Dont be discouraged at all, you have a whole year to get everything together! if you have any questions just let me know

I am new to this site and I been readings posting regarding Moutain View nursing but has not have much info. I got accepted into MVCfor fall 2014 and wants to know if anyone can let me know what is like in the MVC nursing.
