Hi am also applying for Mountain View's program. I only have 18 points, I wasn't sure if I should apply, but I did. I talked to the Nurse Coordinator and she said I should apply anyway since last year they didn't have many applicants.

Well i hope we all get into the program. We will find out around June 22.

Sorry it took so long to respond, I was having tech difficulties lol. But I also only have 18 points. I just applied because of the reapplication points. I'm also going to try to get into TCC but I have to wait until I take microbiology. Does anyone know how many people have applied?

I have no idea how many people had applied. I went on Thursday to turn in my application and saw about 10 people. Other students turned it in by mail or before the deadline in person so i don't really know.

I didn't either.. I will apply to El Centro College now that I dint get accepted to MVC.

Lets not give up and keep trying.

I noticed they have daily clinicals that are set in minimesters from 7-3, seems like a lot.

Isn't the app for mountain view and el centro the same thing? If you don't get into one, why would you get into the other? Is mountain view not on the 30 point system along w/ El Centro?

Nevermind I see now. It's frustrating that all the dcccd nursing programs have different Pre and Co requisites. MVC doesn't need speech and lifespan psych, hprs or chem. Looks like a great program for people who live nearby
