Mountain View College Nursing Fall '17

Hello everyone!

Just trying to see if there's anyone out there applying to Mountain View College (Dallas, TX) nursing program and if so have you gotten an email back for an interview?! I did, and I'm a little nervous! I hope I get in. I've been trying for years now to get on the nursing track and I finally feel like I may finally have a real shot! Good luck to all you nursing majors out there!

Clicking on the link in the message didn't work for me either, so I cut and pasted it into the browser and it worked fine.

By the way, congratulations to everyone who was accepted to the program. I was accepted to and I am beyond excited and grateful. I look forward to meeting you all and starting a study group immediately!

To our sisters and brothers who didn't get in this time, take heart and apply again. Repeat a pre-req or two for an "A" if you have to. Thousands upon thousands of qualified applicants are denied entry into nursing programs each year simply because there aren't enough instructors to support the demand. Try again.

Good to know. I hope they do come up with a class that's going to work around our class schedule. Does everyone here have their health insurance? I was trying to get one through EJ Smith but when i have to choose the school I'm attending it only gives the option for El Centro.

I purchased insurance through a "middle-man" agency called NSO, Nursing Service Organization. My plan is $144 each month and I can keep it as long as I want and end it whenever I want. It is a bare-bones plan.

Do y'all know if we can just scan all the vaccinations or do we have to personally go to submit them?

Yes, I imagine health insurance of any kind is satisfactory.

Hi! Yes she said we could scan and send copies that's what I did and she replied back saying that if there was anything missing she will let me know.
