Mountain View College Nursing Fall '17

Hello everyone!

Just trying to see if there's anyone out there applying to Mountain View College (Dallas, TX) nursing program and if so have you gotten an email back for an interview?! I did, and I'm a little nervous! I hope I get in. I've been trying for years now to get on the nursing track and I finally feel like I may finally have a real shot! Good luck to all you nursing majors out there!

Well... I've been removed from the waitlist and admitted/accepted into the program! Got the email early this morning, ANDDD a fellow nurse coworker of mine bought me a Littman for school! Today's been pretty good! Looking forward to the journey beside you all!

I haven't I wish they would send it out already I need to start working on my august schedule for work I how they send them out soon!

I just received the call yesterday and was accepted into the Nursing Program. YAY! I was planning on taking Micro during the Fall but of course I wont be able to. Dean Ruth told me to try and take it now during the summer but all classes are closed. Any suggestions?

Hey! Congrats! I don't have micro either I was thinking on taking it online on the fall but I'm also debating, I don't want to have a lot on my plate either.

Congrats!! I also don't have micro, so I emailed Ms. Self-Drake since we have to go through her before we register to anything. She replied her and the dean are working on getting a micro class together for nursing students specifically that would work around our nursing schedule. She said she would send out an email with more details if they made it happen. So I would recommend to not register for fall, unless you have approval from Self - Drake

Good to know. I hope they do come up with a class that's going to work around our class schedule. Does everyone here have their health insurance? I was trying to get one through EJ Smith but when i have to choose the school I'm attending it only gives the option for El Centro.
