Hello All!
I applied to the ABSN program for summer 2016 admission and I haven't seen any thread yet so I'm hoping that we can use this one to support one another. I know that they've extended the deadline to 1 Nov due to some technical issues and they want to give other applicants a fair chance, but I don't know when the MSMU will start contacting individuals for math exam and interviews.
If there are kind souls (previous/current students/applicants) lurking in this thread, kindly give us some ideas and/or advise on how we can become stronger applicants, aced the interview, good place to live closer to the university, selling used books, etc.
Good Luck to all of us and can't wait to hear some good news SOON!
@whimsicality - Creating Facebook group sounds a great idea! I got accepted to 2 other universities, pending 1 more CSUN, but I chose MSMU because it is the fastest program, I'm hoping that I won't regret it later on LOL. How about you?
@PrkgG333 and complicakeit - I'm waiting for the letter, I believe it will let us know the things that we need to do, such as the deposit deadline, FAFSA, registration, etc. or at least that's what I'm hoping for
I've applied to some CSUs, UCLA MECN, and Concordia Irvine as well! MSMU is the first to get back to me.
I just received an email from MSMU titled "Mount Saint Mary's University ABSN Next Steps"! I guess this is the official acceptance email? Haven't received any letter in the mail yet. In the e-mail, it mentions the deposit deadline is Feb 1, and touches upon financial aid information as well as orientation and school start dates. Check your emails!
Also, if anyone is looking to move close to campus, I am looking for housemates as I will be moving from the Bay! We should definitely set up a FB group in the coming months and figure out housing and everything. It would be ideal to live with like-minded classmates so we can all have the same schedule and support each other :)

Congrats everyone! Looking forward to meeting all of you! I'm planning on moving closer to the univ but I'm not very familiar at the location, anybody here have suggestions on good location at a good price? Thank you!
