Mount St Mary's University ABSN Summer 2016

Hello All!

I applied to the ABSN program for summer 2016 admission and I haven't seen any thread yet so I'm hoping that we can use this one to support one another. I know that they've extended the deadline to 1 Nov due to some technical issues and they want to give other applicants a fair chance, but I don't know when the MSMU will start contacting individuals for math exam and interviews.

If there are kind souls (previous/current students/applicants) lurking in this thread, kindly give us some ideas and/or advise on how we can become stronger applicants, aced the interview, good place to live closer to the university, selling used books, etc.

Hi,

I just applied for Summer 2016 ABSN as well. My status is complete-In Review Process but I do not think we will hear anything for awhile. From what I have read in past forums in takes a few months to hear anything. :/

Maybe someone will have more insight :)

Hello @LBrown1212! I have the same status too just like yours. Yes, looks like we'll have to wait before we hear something and that's killing me right now LOL. Good thing is I'm working on the last 2 prereqs (religion & philosophy) so it keeps my mind busy/occupied. Good luck to us and keep in touch :up:

Hi there, folks! I submitted mine, too! Looking forward to the process and mingling with everyone. I was just trolling around earlier on the Fall ABSN 2015 thread and was wondering if there was one for the summer 2016 cohort and there was! Wish everyone the best!

Hello @whimsicality! I'm just curious since you said that you submitted your app today, because I thought that the extended deadline was 1 Nov, so I'm wondering if they change it again?

Has anyone taken the math exam yet? I am taking mine today :o

I feel like we are taking this earlier than other classes....I wasn't expecting anything until January.

Hello LBrown1212! How was your math exam? I took mine last week and got the result this Monday ^_^. I think there were a total of 18 people who took the test with me. Good luck to you and hope we get invited to the interview soon :up:
