This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )

weird because I used my sign in name and password just like I was signing into webadvisor and it worked perfect. Someone else posted that we do it and it really does work
I received my information packet this morning and it has A LOT of information on all the steps we need to take before school starts - including health clearance policies, health insurance waiver, malpractice insurance info, uniforms, background checks, the math practice test with answers, etc...And the orientation will be held on August 16th.
Did anyone notice that for the math practice test, there are 61 answers but only 52 math problems? I am wondering if they mistakenly put only 52 problems on my practice test and forgot to add another page, or is everyone else's test only has 52 questions and 61 answers too?
Yes and I was wondering the same thing...I am going to email to to get the rest of the practice test. Does anyone know how many problems are on the actual test?
Do you realize that the schedule for testing is alreaday next Tuesday and Thursday? July 6 and 8? we have approx. a week to study...I already tried calling the nursing dept but no one is answering so I'm about to email them...hopefully they can email a pdf file of the complete test or fax it to me soon...not only am i missing a page, the problems are from 1-13 on the first pg and then jumps to 34-52 and that is all i have...I don't know how many questions will be on the actual test but I will ask them about that in the email i'm about to send.
We have testing next week? What? Ugh I hate that I still have to work and won't even see this packet until about 8pm tonight. I'm just stressing over getting my first paper started for Taylor. Has anyone turned in anything yet for this class?

I asked for the test by email and they said they would look into it. I can't believe that we are missing half the test!!! Thanks for pointing out that we were missing the other problems too! This is already becoming stressful. I tried to apply for the malpractice insurance today and after 10 + times of submitting the same file I gave up. Ugghhhhh!
Kiwi, I also have not sent in the first paper yet. No time to finish it!
