This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )

Nope not a thing, but as soon as I do I will post it. That really stinks that you can't get in. I had to do it a certain way to get into it. I had to go to the MSMC web page. At the top click quick links and then do email (student), from there my webadvisor user name and password, not what they gave me. It was totally complicated. I also registered tonight for my classes and it was totally different than the directions they gave on the mailer. Also, it won't let me register for all of them and it says I am over the allowed units. Ugghhhh is all I can say for now. Are you coming on Friday to the meet and greet? I can try to help you then if you do.

Thanks for the help, just tried it but nothing works! I'm just going to call IT Help.
I also tried to register but could only register for 16 units...it didn't let me register for one class because it said I had to many units and would have to petition.

This school seems so unorganized!
OMG, so frustrating. I can't log into my email. Called the IT dept. this morning and they didn't have an answer for me. They took my telephone number and personal email and said they would get back to me, but not a peep out of them. I tried the info you posted here and that doesn't work either.
Then I email the contact in the letter to schedule my math test and uniform fitting and no resopnse on that front either. I asked her to send the confirmation to my personal email and not my MSMC email since it doesn't work. Would someone please let me know if you received a confirmation email regarding your math test and uniform fitting? Thanks so much!

Also, for any of the current ABSN students - do you actually need all the "recommended" books? Which ones are really useful?
is it too late to apply to msmc for the fall semester? i have a bachelors in psych from another institution and have a gpa of 3.3. I tooki micro, chem, bio ect wct basically all of the prereqs except for A & P II. my school only offered A & P 1. so do you think they would let me directly into the nursing program for the fall and let me take A & P II while in the program?
