This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )

Berty, i dont think they will give the admission status over the phone because, I called CSUN, after i recieved the packet from MSMC to know my status there, and they didnot give me. I think It would be the same with MSMC too.
I received the admissions packet yesterday - with the surprise! So happy to finally have made it into MSMC. It's a huge weight off my shoulders, as I'd begun to lose hope. Now I truly know that last years intense studying paid off. This was my second round of applications and so as you can imagine, I wasn't sure what I would do if I didn't get into a program.
For those still waiting to hear something, I really hope that your acceptance letters are in the mail. I know the frustration and tension of waiting to hear anything at all.
I'm going to be canceling my interview with Vanderbilt, as I'm not going to move to Nashville, so far away from my family, not to mention the 100K price tag. I'm still waiting on CSUN and am still planning and studying for the TEAS exam this Sunday for my application to the ELMN program at CSULA. Fingers crossed on that one, as I really like that program. At least now the pressure is off for getting accepted somewhere. I suppose I can regain some sense of zen in my life.

My status changed today on WebAdvisor to ACCEPTED!!!! I even called to confirm and make sure that I was actually accepted since I haven't received anything in the mail yet.
