This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )

Congratulations on your acceptance to the College of the Canyons!! It's always good to have a back up plan. Mine was NYU but I dropped the Chem class I needed in hopes of getting into MSM's. At least if I don't get into MSM's I can take a quick Chem class in March and be done by May. NYU's accelerated program begins in August. But I pray I get the big envelope friday b/c MSM's is my first choice.

I live in Pasadena, so maybe I'll get it tomorrow? I'm trying not to worry too too much about it, trying to convince myself that whatever happens is the way it's meant to be. If it takes me 2 years to get my RN/BSN instead of 1 year, it's not the end of the world. I'm only 23 so I still have plenty of working years ahead of me.

the status hasn't changed yet...it hasn't been updated since november.
just keep on hoping! im 24 and i applied for the program when i was 23 also but got rejected. at least you got an interview this time around right? i didn't even get an interview last time i applied.

Congratulations, Rocky16!!!! You must be soooo excited!!!! I am very happy for you. I know how hard you worked to get in and how stressful the waiting is.
Kkinla - you have a very positive outlook. I wish I felt the same way, but I am 35, going on 36 so I am praying I get in somewhere this year.
I didn't get anything in today's mail, but I live in Oregon so I am not expecting to get anything until the end of the week. The waiting is killing me
