It depends on your situation. If your situation is similar to mine in that you need to be earning money asap and just want to start getting your hands dirty then LVN is good.
I would recommend ACC for the following reasons. Its been around for a long time so has most of the kinks worked out. They do have good clinical sites. LA-USC, St Vincent's White Memorial. You can reasonably expect to have 2 rotations in an LTC/Sub Acute 2 in a hospital as well as an LD rotation and subacute peds.
All my theory instructors were excellent no complaints. The posters that have complaints about the school being unfair etc are usually the ones not doing what they were supposed to. In my year there I never saw anyone kicked out/flunked out that didnt deserve to be. You can repeat terms but if you fail the first one (the easiest one BTW) you probably won't be allowed back due to the fact there is no room
I have previous college credits and I am trying to get into the ADN program.
If the credits do not transfer do they put you in the pre-adn program? I'm fine if they do that, I just want to know if they will offer me that option or deny my application.
i kinda do need to start earning money. thanks so much for all the info! you're a great help! i wonder if they do interviews for prenursing people also?
Is there anyone who applied to the prenursing program that didn't get in. After literally falling off my high horse and landing on my face I am feeling a little down esp since they are supposedly already interviewing. Though the counsellor said prenursing students don't get interviewed.
ah i have hope! i hope im one of those ppl. hey what happened? i think i totally didnt notice the "literally" part..i thought u were talking about figuratively. hope ur ok!
Haha I fell off my horse and hit the rail then fell face first. So now I know what it feels like to be a trauma pt. The nurses at LB Memorial are awesome
