Applying to MSMC's 2011 absn program? Yeah, me too. Just wanted to hearing from others in the same boat.
Congrats all around to everyone who got their packets in the mail and the happy notification on WebAdvisor!
I have two sets of books for the Taylor Bioethics class. I HIGHLY recommend taking it now!!!! I found out within two months of classes starting, buy you have the advantage of taking a little more time to get it all done. Our fellow cohorts who didn't take the bioethics prior to school starting are really feeling the added pressure this week.
See you on campus!
Hi All,
Has anyone taken the Taylor class yet or started it? I'm curious how intensive it is. I'm currently working part time and planning my wedding which is in 6 weeks. Will it be too much for me to handle? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I would love to join the cohort group, I'll have to search for it or maybe private message to find the link?
Thanks all!
Lisa
LJ815, I have decided not to take the Taylor University bioethics class. I too, work full time right now, trying to save as much money as I can before I quit my job for the program. I'm not sure how intense the class is, but my friend who graduated in 2008 from MSMC's ABSN program said that MSMC's bioethics class IS manageable to take during the program. Of course it's better if you have the time and commitment to complete it before the program, but I just don't feel like I will be successful in that class working full-time and only having less than 3 months to complete it. What is everyone else doing?
I am going to take the Taylor bioethics class before class starts. I'll probably start in a couple weeks or so.
I was just curious, does anyone know if they're making the move out to LA? I live in Orange County, so commuting is doable, but I know it will be a hassle with traffic and all.

Congratulations everyone.
If you don't mind, would those accepted be willing to post their GPAs and TEAS stats? I'd love to have an idea of where I stand right now.
