Hi Everyone!

Has anyone heard back from MSMC for the summer 2009 nursing program. They said we would hear back early January, so I'm getting kind of nervous.

I haven't heard anything and just checked webadviser.

:dncgbby: i got my acceptance letter. hope to see you guys in class.

Congrats!

When did you get your letter?:specs:

I got an acceptance letter today.

you guys should get the letters in next few days. They said they sent letters out this week!

Those of you who decide to attend this school! I will see you guys in class~~~

labelledame congrats! I will see you in may :yeah:

this school was my first choice so my application process to other schools are terminated haha

:dncgbby: i got my acceptance letter. hope to see you guys in class.

great !!! congrats.. do you remember when you interviewed?

Congratulations "juninunmul" I will see you on may or even before!!! MSMC ABSN was also my first choice. I was accepted in 4 community colleges for the RN (2yrs) program, but like you I am just gonna drop all those. Are you planning to take the bioethic class before May? if yes, where?

To "dmskoka" I was interviewed on December 9th 2008 by Sarah. I scheduled my interview right after the e-mail sent to us by the school. I wish you good luck.

Just waiting for all of you guys to receive your acceptance letters and we could start a google group to share informations and letter work together. God bless each of you...:wshgrt:

Yes I am going to take the Bioethics class right now at Taylor University of Fort Wayne online. http://www2.taylor.edu/online/coursecatalog/philosophy/PHI410E.php

They said guest students can start the class anytime and end it anytime as long as you finish the course within 6 month.

THsi is where last year students recommended me to take the class. The class is 3 units and it is $275 per credit hour. Cheaper than mount.

and starting google group is definately a great idea!

I am waiting to hear from the rest of you guys about the acceptance!

Good Luck!:w00t:

I just got accepted!!I have not seen the school yet, live in northern California so I am going to try to come down this week. The upsetting thing is that you have to pay the 400 $ tuition to save a spot.. I won't here from some other schools till later.. As I haven't seen the school I am very interested in the area/housing.. Can anyone give me any tips?

YAY~~!! Congrats dmskoka! Is MSMC your first choice? I hope you will join us!

I am so glad I get to talk and share info with my classmates before starting school!

I am going to live in an apartment near msmc and I been looking at it. Apartments seem cheaper than other areas so I am glad. Although the area isn't the best, they have cheap housing. Just google apartments online near zipcode 90007 like I did.

I am interested in a few schools. All have plus and minus's. This school sounds great. Have been reading more about it. What price range are you seeing rentwise. I want something cheap but safe.I went to UCSB and most of my life have lived in the suburbs so L.A. is going to be quite a shock!!! :wink2: I would love to live on the campus in the Victorian homes but no pets and my 2 furrballs follow mom everywhere :)....Just so glad to get accepted anywhere right now.. As I left my job to go to school..... I had to get in......:yeah:

Congratulations "dmskoka" wouahouhhh!!! Just follow "junununmul" advices regarding the housing. You will have a whole bunch of apartments to chose from if you search through internet. You have websites like http://www.craigslist.org (housing), westsiderental.com that can help. I don't have a housing problem since I live about 10 miles from the school.

Like "junununmul" said, it is great to share feelings and informations with you guys before the class starts. Let's wait til the end of the month to start our google group hopping that everyone will have an application status by then.

The $400 non refundable tuition deposit was distubing to me too, but I guess that is another step we will have to follow. I will be taking the bioethic class through calstate long beach or LA. I do not feel confortable with online classes. Anyway, the bottom line is to get that class out of the way at a cheaper price!!!
