How is the professors and all. Please expalin abt the nursing classes and all. Is clinical placements guranteed after u take nursing classes in mount saint vincent. Can some body help me by answering the questions. It would be very helpful for me to know. I want to know the procedures for the nursing program. I 'm happy as well as confused at this moment.

@pcrown1 I can't figure out how to message you, but I wanted to ask if you ended up going to MSV? If so, I have a few questions about the program if you'd be willing to answer! I was just accepted into their fall 2015 program. Either message me or I can ask on here.

Hi Guys, Is anyone on here?

Hi Guys, Is anyone on here?

Hey! Did you apply to the Fall program?

Yes, I did. I got in! YAY me. I applied at Concordia too had the interview but didn't do too well on my TEAS so I got rejected :(, I was also looking at another school closer to me in Brooklyn, but I decided to got to CMSV. In your other post you stated your going to PACE? Congrats on your acceptance by the way:up:. Are you excited? This thread is old should I move it to the one you created?

This one should be fine, I think this is the only forum I could find about CMSV. Thats exciting! I hadn't heard if anyone else had gotten in yet. I am very excited! Im not from the area so Ill have to find an apartment this summer, possibly in Brooklyn or Queens.

Oo ok that's great. Yes, you want something super convenient so when you travel back and forth it'll be easy for you. I think Queens is a little easier to get into the City than in Brooklyn, and I live in Brooklyn. It also depends on which part of Queens. I know Rego Park is very convenient. It might be a little expensive though but I'm sure you'll find something.

Hey guys,

I've been accepted to CMSV, pretty nervous because after submitting my enrollment deposit I spoke to nursing students (traditional) and they were stressed. They kept saying how the staff is rude and you have to do everything yourself (teach yourself). I know nursing is hard and teaching yourself the material is a must, but one of the students said "if you get accepted somewhere else, then go" This really scared me, has anyone else had this issue? Also the NCLEX exam passing rate really scared me.

Don't understand how the CMSV program can be so "bad". The same order ran Saint Vincent's Hospital schools of nursing in Manhattan, Staten Island and Queens which were highly rated in their day. Indeed the Manhattan program developed protocols in nursing care from geriatrics to HIV/AIDS care that are still in use today.

Agreed, just the NCLEX passing rate scares me

Hello edibe001. I just received a acceptance letter yesterday for the fall 2015 accelerated program. I think i have chose the manhattan campus? How about you? I hope we can talk more so we can ask each other questions and get to know each other :)

@ Amandeep89 & @kzayas1

Congrats on your acceptance guys, are you excited? I've been accepted too and I'm nervous as well. Has anyone went to orientation yet?

Thanks potential_one congrats to you as well. Which campus are you going to? Also, would you happen to know the total tuition cost for the accelerated program? I cannot find the total cost on the website? And classes start on August 31st right?

Thank you.
