mount saint vincent nursing program

Hii every body. i just received a letter saying that i 'm accepted to the nursing program in college of mount saint vincent in ny:yeah: . However, i need human developemnt 2, economics, world literature class,religious studies, but i have 60 credits. The admissions told me that i can take this core classes along with the nursing classes. Also , they told me that i can start the clinicals only on fall 2011.I've finished all science classes. I 'm accepted to the fall 2010 program which basically means a year to do the clinicals. I can only graduate in 2013. Is that too long. Should i take this core classes any where else. I 'm confused abt gng to mount. Right now, i 'm studying in lehman college. How is the mount saint vincent nursing program overall and hw z the clinicals. How long does it take. How is the professors and all. Please expalin abt the nursing classes and all. Is clinical placements guranteed after u take nursing classes in mount saint vincent. Can some body help me by answering the questions.It would be very helpful for me to know. I want to know the procedures for the nursing program. I 'm happy as well as confused at this moment.

I chose the Mid-town campus because it's more convenient. Follow the link to calculate the tuition keep in mind it is 4 semesters, so it should be around 48-50k for the entire program give or take. https://www.mountsaintvincent.edu/campus-life/campus-services/student-accounts/tuition-and-fees/graduate-tuition-and-fees/ Make sure you scroll all the way down where it says 2015-2016 Cohort because there is a price change. & about classes starting I thought the advisor said August 21st, I need to double check this. Did you attend orientation as yet?

Thank you potential_one for replying. I had recieved a undergraduate Academic Calender that says classes start august 31. Im not sure if it would be different for accelerated program? Thank you for the cost info. Do you know if its mandatory to attend the orientation, in the admission packet it says its on July 22nd? Becuase I live in California and wont be moving to new york until middle of august. I have also emailed Ellen to see if i can attend the midmatthattan campus instead of riverdale, not sure if they will let me now.

Well the orientation gives you a brief description of the program itself. I know you get to take your pictures, the Dean will speak to you as well as financial aid. It's to make the students aware of what's expected through this journey. You live in California that's nice. Are you staying with relatives here?

Hi Lindsay! I just got accepted too, however I don't know much at all about the program and I can't seem to find much about it online as far as reviews and such. Do you know anyone that has gone there? As of right now I am attending I'm still waiting to hear back from pace but their program is 1 year and I think even the 3 extra months at msv will make it a little less intense

Whats up guys! I just put in my deposit for the fall accelerated program. Just wondering if anybody that has attended could tell me how strict they are with attendance. I have a trip planned for Thanksgiving break and our academic calendar goes according to the Undergraduate calendar which shows that we have Wed-Fri off that week. How lenient are they with making up work? Or if there are important exams right before breaks? I need to know so I can cancel the trip soon. If anyone can provide me with some sort of direction with this, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
