Hi everyone,

I submitted my application for MSMU ABSN Fall 2017 a couple of weeks ago and thought it would be great to start a page and see who else applied!

Sounds like we should be hearing whether we're invited to take the math exam within the next month!

Has anyone heard anything else? It'd be great to keep each other updated through this crazy process!

@rma02 said on another chain that someone called her from Admissions today confirming her pre-reqs and they said the math placement test emails will be sent out tomorrow. So....I think we can relax for tonight. Which is hard haha!

I am also an applicant for Mount Saint Mary's Fall 2017 ABSN cohort. I saw in another post (I can't seem to locate it, so I'm putting my comment here) that you are planning to take your final religion prerequisite at SMC this summer - I think you said it's a "History of Religion" course?? I also need a religion course to complete my prereqs & I'd love to take a (cheap) summer 2017 class locally. Can you advise where you found the course listing for summer 2017 at SMC? I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Thanks!

Hi! Yes, I'm taking the History of Religion, which is a 3 unit online course offered through SMC!

If you look, it's listed under the history section, as History 53 :-)

This is awesome - thanks so much! Did you speak to admissions at Mt. St. Mary's and get the go-ahead for this course? I emailed with Agasia a while back about courses she suggested and World Religion was one that she said they like to see. She also sent a couple of links for schools that offer that course online, but most are out of state or super expensive. I'd love something that qualifies and is at a local junior college. With the MSMU tuition on the possible horizon, savings is key ;)

Hi! I just looked at the articulation agreements they have with the different schools.

if you look, under the religion category, they have History 53 listed as something that is acceptable :-)

I received an invitation to take the math exam on the 28th of April. HOpe everyone got the invitation. Make sure to RSVP Admissions for your exam date. Bring number 2 pencil. No calculators. 30 item math exam.

Hi All!

I applied as well and was invited to the math exam. I test on Sunday, April 30th. Do any of you know what the staistics are for the number of applicants invited to test, and subsequently, to interview?

I'm sooo excited yet extremely nervous!

Does any one know what the format of the exam is going to be? Is it going to be multiple choice or will you have to write in your answer? Also will they tell you how they want you to leave you answer (how to round or how to write the fraction)
