Hi everyone,
I submitted my application for MSMU ABSN Fall 2017 a couple of weeks ago and thought it would be great to start a page and see who else applied!
Sounds like we should be hearing whether we're invited to take the math exam within the next month!
Has anyone heard anything else? It'd be great to keep each other updated through this crazy process!
Good luck to everyone!
Congrats to those who have been accepted!
I'm in the May 2017 cohort, and can't wait to meet all of you in August. I can assure you that working during the program is impossible, and if you choose to do so, it is apparent to everyone and your grades will reflect it. It's just not worth it! My advice now, that I wish I would have done, is to quit your job 2 weeks before you start!!! There simply is no time for fun once you begin. This program requires a lot of your time outside of scheduled class times. Please make sure your support system understands this, as you will be with your new family (read, classmates) more than your actual family, which can take a toll. Your weekends will be dedicated to studying and playing catch-up. It can sound scary, but know that in 1 year it is well worth the sacrifices. The possibility of success in the program is high, if you are willing to do what it takes. Hope this info gives you an inside glimpse!

I would advise either quitting or only doing like a half day (if you want to keep any employee benefits). The schedule really is almost all day Monday through Friday and quite a few hours a week out of class studying. To be honest, it's also a little exhausting and you'll want to use some weekend time to catch up on sleep and have some you time. As for the student ID numbers, I feel like they gave them out almost immediately after acceptance. I would just let Bobby and Merlyn (the administrators) know so they are aware as to why no one has submitted their deposits. Hope this helps!
