Hi everyone,

I submitted my application for MSMU ABSN Fall 2017 a couple of weeks ago and thought it would be great to start a page and see who else applied!

Sounds like we should be hearing whether we're invited to take the math exam within the next month!

Has anyone heard anything else? It'd be great to keep each other updated through this crazy process!

I guess humor is the only thing that's going to get us through this! í ½í¸… I'm just confused on why they'd send out that big email saying we'd receive invites in the beginning of June if they couldn't make that happen.

Hi all! So sorry, my work has been incredibly busy and I have been MIA on the feeds. Nope, have not heard anything here in regards to interviews or schools. Also applied to Concordia, but I do not believe we hear about interviews until July. I do know that I did not receive that mass email update from MSMU so I emailed Agasia asking if I was not longer in the running. She stated that they switched systems and there were many students who didn't receive the mass email and that I was still in the Fall 2017 applicant pool. I do think it would be odd if no one on the forum receives an interview but who knows. The waiting is definitely tough. I am trying to stay busy with work and other applications in the meantime to not get hung up if I am not accepted this round. Though I am hoping more than anything I will be.

Hi all,

Checking in around 11:30 a.m. and I have still not received anything either. I can't believe it's June 9th and no one has heard anything on this forum....agree with you @rcarney that it would be super odd if none of the 20 people on this forum got an interview, out of the 75 that took the exam....

Maybe we'll get something by end of day.....? Otherwise, we're looking at June 12th-onward....

If anyone hears or receives anything, please keep us updated :-)

I have an update (albeit a confusing one....)

I just called the Office of Admissions again and spoke with someone who said that invites have NOT gone out yet. They apologize for the delay and they should be going out in the next week or 2 (!!!!!). Apparently the nursing department is still reviewing them and they are the ones who send out the invites.

Not everyone will get an invite and they will be sent out in 2-3 batches.

I'm officially stumped and need a drink haha. I have given up trying to understand their system.

Confirming no interview invitation yet. This is frustrating. I hope they realize that so much preparation has to be made (loans, insurance, BLS and vaccinations) prior to start of class in August. Start of UCLA MECN information sessions next month; for Cal State LA July I think is also start of application for their Accelerated BSN... just FYI for everyone who is here.

This is getting a little silly...I mean...we would start the program in a little more than 2 months...

We have loans to figure out, potential places to live etc....

I really really hope we find out this week....

Decisions will be mailed mid June.

Not everyone was interviewed.

Via mail notification ONLY.

I still don't think they accepted my transcript... so good luck everyone! Blessings!!!

Mine on the 16th too. I almost delete the email because it sent out by a different person.
