I am planning on applying to Mount Marty's CRNA program in South Dakota this year. Wondering if anyone is applying, in the program, or has gone through the program.

Which programs remain "cut throat" after admitted? I'd rather avoid those.

Programs shouldn't be cut throat after you are admitted because then your working toward the same goal of becoming CRNA's. I understand the competitive nature of the school application process but once that is done then it should be done.

If you want to really know, I can personally email you. I do not want to put a bad image on any program since it is still a great program that prepares you well for the CRNA profession.
Every Nurse Anesthesia program in the USA is a great program and prepares you well (they would not be an accredited program otherwise), they all have their advantages and disadvantages. Some can be tougher than others but there are students that learn well or thrive in that type of environment.

Yeah id appreciate that PM because I've interviewed around the country and really don't want to be aware of those factors before deciding

Don’t stress...you’re just going from the car to the building. Watch for the slick parking lots as we’ve had rain mixed with snow last week. You’ll look and feel good in your interview suit. Be yourself. Talk to the students. They’ll tell you that the first year you will study like you’ve never studied before. Are you flexible? Can you learn from mistakes? Are you self confident but not cocky (what’s the difference). How would you weave Christian values into patient care? (This program is 76 yo and founded by Benedictine nuns). Good luck and safe travels.
