Hey everyone! Just wanted to create a place for potential Motlow Nursing students for fall 2014 to converse, ask questions, and get to know each other. Anyone out there? If so, which campus do you hope to attend? I live near Lavergne, so Smyrna campus will be my home base.
For those of you who have questions about the process over the next 6 months, I went through all of the application/acceptance/orientation/etc steps last year, but had to withdraw 3 weeks before classes started due to a financial aid fiasco...so I know what's to come and would be glad to clarify anything for you.

Wow...very nice. The thought of 3rd shift makes me cringe, so I'm trying to avoid it for as loooong as possible lol. But if you can handle it, then that's a perfect schedule!

I currently work in medical billing with HCA but have to quit for school. I have a dr friend that is trying to see if they can hire me part time as a Cna or MA while I'm in school. We will see....

As of right now, no. My husband intends to be Superman and hold down the fort while I'm in school. lol. Depending on how things go this year, I may look for a part-time position next summer. I really don't want to add a work schedule into the craziness either, if I don't have to...but the experience would be a huge plus!

My fiancé says I don't have to work but I want to have the experience and having extra money is nice I'm worried about the time being taken away from my family but at the same time it's just short term. Been praying a long time about what I should do and when I was called and offered a job in the hospital I felt like that was a sign. Shall see how it goes
I got an email from the financial aid saying that they preceded my application and I need to check mymotlow account to see if I awarded the aid or not, the problem is I don't see any financial aid on my account!
If you look at your account where you confirm registration and the pay now, it shows at the bottom the financial aid amount. It's not showing under the financial aid links though. :)
