I'm an ER nurse in a large hospital just outside of Chicago. We have a set of twin boys with asthma who are "frequent visitors". Their names -- and I kid you not -- are "Lemonjello" and "Orangejello". L is pronounced "Le-manjalow" and O is pronounced "O-ran-jalow". Look at the spellings -- lemon jello and orange jello! :uhoh3:

Am I the only one that picks up multiple drug references in that name?:stone

Icy, Special K, Eight (ball)

He is adorable...his name...not so much

Calling him Urhines (Your Highness) is also weird. The only ok name is Kendall, I haven't found anything weird about that. (Yet!)

i hope they did a Social Service consult on this family.

You know, I have read about Lemonjello and Orangejello here, many, many times---usually they are twins---but, 'fess up, those of you who have REALLY seen them in your ERs or even witnessed their births---are there truly kids, many of them, many sets of twins, in America, with those names? According to http://www.snopes.com it's a common urban legend---as is the one with babies named "Lochia" lady parts" and "Meconium..."

C'mon!!! You're kidding, right? (These names are also mentioned on snopes as urban legend.....)

Specializes in ER, Peds, Charge RN.

A friend of mine knows a brother and sister. The boy's name is Cocaine, the girl's name is Heroin. Seriously.

Funny thing though... the mother was not a drug user, and seems to be a very respectable woman. The kids are in their 20's now.... and I feel horribly sorry for them.

Oh, one more. My grandfather's name is Oral Thomas. He goes by Tom, thankfully.
