Eep, that's exciting. You did that cram course so you're feeling super ready, right? You'll do great !

I hope I get an e-mail soon enough. Not like I need to take the TEAS, just the not knowing is killing me. Lydia told me back when I had a meeting with her that all my courses and stuff were good and my grades were good (I came from out of state so she had to do a separate evaluation), so its like, I have her word, but I want the physical e-mail to move to the "next step"

Yes I did the cram course BUT I know I will pass just want top grades for the POINTS! Thanks for the vote of confidence! If she said you were good then I am sure you are. Just keep checking. I am sure the email is on the way. Take note you must reply to the email to confirm you are going and get a user id and number on the ATI site.

Haha I totally understand that, people kept telling me I'll pass too but I was always like "I need the BEST passing score though!!"

But scoring an 85 overall got me top points in all sections except for math. I got an 85% in that section and moorpark is 86 and higher was like 6 points I believe.

And for real, we are the only ones on this forum and we didn't even create this thread! OP, where are you?!

Felt really, really good about it today! Woooooo! Glad that is over and they said they will let us know by end of Oct of who got in. The orientation tea is Nov 3rd or something like that. There were about 35 others there. Just glad that is over.

Yay! When do you get your score? I think on the Nursing website it says it got changed to Oct 26th from Nov 2nd for the mandatory tea/orientation.

I'm still waiting for a dang e-mail! I keep neurotically checking. Did they say how many applicants applied this period?

Hello, I applied to both Ventura and Moorpark for spring 2016.

I have a 4.0 for science classes

an AS degree

the 200 hours work experience

im a veteran

but only scored a 70% overall for the TEAS I took it almost a year ago but they don't let you retake it if it's within a year :'(

Good luck on getting in. Your science scores are excellent (I have 2 A's and a B, so a 3.65 since my physiology is 5.0 units and an A), what is your overall GPA if you don't mind me asking?

Mine is only a 3.01 due to some old courses back when I was in a really bad divorce and custody battle. I just forgot to drop them a few semesters in a row-eeeek! GPA was MUCH higher with out those. What work experience? Do you have CNA? I think if you have your CNA and AA/AS then you get the full 10 points vs only the 8. I believe the CNA must still be current. I have EMT and work experience.

Bottom line is you can retest next semester, since your year is up--if you don't get in this round. But be confident, you have a good chance with the other points-right?

Hey, when you got your e-mail for Moorpark testing, did it come from the counselor or just a general nursing email address? I just got an e-mail saying if I electronically submitted my TEAS score to Moorpark, to call the department and "check in" but I have no idea what that means, haha.

It came from an assistant and her personal name with a .vcccd.edu email. Did you send your TEAS info to them yet? Maybe they are just verifying and connecting the proper TEAS to the proper application. They are very helpful and friendly. Give them a call and just mention the email you received. In the meanwhile I am going crazy waiting for my scores to come in. I keep hitting refresh and nothing yet! Pulling my hair out.

My scores got sent to them the day after I took it - I got a verification e-mail the same time I got my TEAS transcript. I'm going to call them in the morning for sure and see what it was about, because it was from lydia directly.

And since you took it Friday, you should probably be getting the score by tomorrow! I know ATI says within 48 business hours, but I got mine the day after (I took it on a Wednesday and got it Thursday).

I'm sure you did awesome though, you'll have to let us know when your score posts !
