Moorpark College ADN Fall 2024

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those who have applied to the moorpark nursing program for Fall admission! I've seen previous threads where people start receiving admission decisions in March so I thought it was appropriate time to start the thread since were reaching the end of February.

The required textbooks are from section  A and B

The books that are optional are under recommended text.

Thank you for responding!!

Option A is like 25$ worth of workbooks required from the student bookstore. B is a list of required texts you must get on your own. They did provide the link to publisher website for a discount on the first few on that list. But both A and B you must get. The only optional books are at the bottom. Recommended texts which are mostly study guides for the major books from list B. And then there is ATI to purchase for $670. Before August 8th I believe. Hope this helps.

Yess!! This helps so incredibly much, I really appreciate it! Thank you for the clarification

Has anyone been able to purchase the NS 1, part 1 theory, and clinical workbook?

They aren't available yet they went with a new publisher or maker of the workbooks

at top of list and he said try back around orientation.

I am too! I did start, but then I realized it an irrelevant soon. 3 weeks out I'm planning to pick back up. Which is like I a couple of days. Some of us are doing ns m16 and it's been helpful to get into the swing of it!

I probably should have taken that class. Do you feel that it was beneficial?
