Moorpark College ADN Fall 2024

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those who have applied to the moorpark nursing program for Fall admission! I've seen previous threads where people start receiving admission decisions in March so I thought it was appropriate time to start the thread since were reaching the end of February.

Sorry you haven't heard anything yet. They called me on Monday. My stats are really good, but I have heard of people getting accepted as alternates with decent stats, too. I hope you get a call.....

Thanks for sharing that! And congratulations to you!

Thank you 🙂

I was accepted as an alternative! I know someone who was an alternative last semester and got in 🙂 Good luck to everyone!

Yeah I am hopeful, there are multiple places where there is opportunity for people to drop in addition to the fact that I know some nursing schools are releasing acceptances late due to the whole issue with FAFSA right now

Hi there! I am an alternate student! I was looking into Castle Branch and noticed that the Compliance tracker has a fee. I have applied to other schools and am awaiting their responses. In the mean time I don't know if it is best to just pay the fee and start filling out the forms required...physical etc. Or if I should wait until the near end of May, in anticipation of hearing back from other schools - and then move forward based on acceptance or denial. Does anyone know how long it takes for CastleBranch to process our forms? If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Hey! I am in the same boat I am waiting to hear back from another school as well, but as the previous post mentioned the compliance tracker is only about $50. It's better to waste the money than not have time for all the items to clear. Thankfully for me as well I should know by late May, so its only the $50 and not potentially more money. Good luck with your other school prospects!

For those who attended the zoom "new student tea" does anyone remember if the program is only 3 days (where we physically need to be somewhere like lecture or lab or clinicals) for all 4 semesters?

Yea it's Monday lecture and then clinical depends on what site you select. I already selected mine by registering for NSM01 and NSMO1L. The CRN for lecture is 78044 I believe and for clinical depends on the class you select. But yea, three days.
