Hello everyone !! I decided to create this thread for anyone applying to Montgomery College Spring 2022 nursing program in Takoma Park, MD. Did you guys finish all your priority courses?  Have you taken the TEAS? Have you already submitted your application? The deadline is August 1st and we will be receiving an answer via email sometime in September. Let's support each other through this entire journey and share our experiences.

Can’t anyone help? The points system doesn’t make sense to me. It says total points is up to 27. But when I count the total for each category it’s way less than 27. I have no idea how to calculate my points because this is confusing. 

According to the chart if I go the most points in each section it only adds up to 15 points. What am I doing wrong? ?

TEAS: Up to 4 pts

GPA: Up to 4 pts

Attempts to pass the 4 prerequisites: Up to 16 pts

Prior degree: 3 pts

= 27 ?

OK so for each class if I pass on first try I get 4 points? That’s where it was unclear to me. Thank you.

Yes exactly, so if you passed all 4 of those on the first try, you get 16 points total.

What’s the prior degree section, under that says 6-8 credit hours etc?

That is if you have a consistent schedule of classes of 6-8 credit hours per semester you get those points

Ohh I do. So every semester I take 10 credits then I’d get those points?
