Montgomery College Nursing Spring 2015

So I figured I would start a new thread for those applying to Montgomery College in Spring 2015.

I had applied to the nursing program in the fall of 2015 but was put on a "wait list" which was not used because my AP 1 and 2 were over 5 years old. I have since taken a pathophysiology class and so now the AP 1 and 2 will be counted towards the four core course requirements. I have a 3.45 GPA, I scored an 82.7 on my Teas, and I have all four of the required prerequisites finished.

I really hope I get in this time or I don't know what I am going to do. I have heard the spring semester is easier to get in which makes sense because you don't have all the high school seniors that will be graduating applying. Anyway good luck to everyone applying!

Nope just that they would be reviewed this past Monday. :)

I so want to call the admission office and ask when are we gonna get our letters, but I start to shake every time I dial the number :dead:

BTW, my TEAS overall score = 84%

I have all prerequisites + micro, but I failed the first semester of nursing... therefore I am reapplying and I do not know if they are counting it against me :-(

Dream_true, can I ask what happened that you failed your first semester of nursing? And was it with a different nursing school or with MC? I hope you don't mind my asking. You don't have to answer if you'd rather not. I am just wondering if it was due to the material or something else.

Hope_is_w_feathers, It was at MC nursing program. I started nursing school with a 4.0 GPA. I failed because I was working 40+ hours every single week. Nursing school is insane, it really is. You have around 100 pages to read every day and endless assignments.

IVE TAKEN OTHER PRE'S needed for a BSN program and my TEAS wasnt much to yell home about, 72% ? WAITING!!?
