So I figured I would start a new thread for those applying to Montgomery College in Spring 2015.
I had applied to the nursing program in the fall of 2015 but was put on a "wait list" which was not used because my AP 1 and 2 were over 5 years old. I have since taken a pathophysiology class and so now the AP 1 and 2 will be counted towards the four core course requirements. I have a 3.45 GPA, I scored an 82.7 on my Teas, and I have all four of the required prerequisites finished.
I really hope I get in this time or I don't know what I am going to do. I have heard the spring semester is easier to get in which makes sense because you don't have all the high school seniors that will be graduating applying. Anyway good luck to everyone applying!
Yeah I was unimpressed with many people there. If Matthews said to be respectful and not have side convos then don't! There were many sitting near me that still had side convos, and it was kinda hard for me to listen to Matthews and Davis at times. Although I'm a really nice person, disrespect is a huge pet peeve of mine.
Are any of you second half of the alphabet people? Maybe we can make a point to meet at registration. That was me in the pink that asked that question about there being space left for us to pick. Haha. I feel like I've always gotten last pick of things because my last name starts with S and I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to happen again! Praying for a high lottery number!
I will be doing registration on December 3rd, so, yeah, I am part of the second alphabet. LOL.
sfranci, yeah, I was sitting almost at the back in the middle with a couple of my friends. That is very sweet of you to say. Too bad you aren't with the second half of the alphabet people. But we should all try to meet up sometime anyway.
Could first half and second half alphabet people still have clinicals together? I am confused about how that works...the lottery, that is. What class times/clinical days are you guys hoping for?
Can anyone explain the background and the drug and alcohol screening? Are they not due on 11/21 with the other things? I wrote down that it wasn't due until January...or am I getting that confused with something else?
And does all she want for those are the receipts that we paid to have it done?
Yeah, I need to look through these packets carefully too. Probably tomorrow since I have a human physiology exam tomorrow to study for instead. I'll answer you if no one else does tomorrow!
and yeah, we need to have a meet-up!! maybe in January before the semester starts? please please? lol

I felt the same way! I was thinking wow these people need to listen! Haha.
I'm excited to register, I just hope I don't get stuck with a Friday class or clinical!
