Montgomery college Nursing Fall '18

Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for the Fall '18 semester so I figured I start one so that we can all share and support each other while we anxiously wait for our acceptance letters. I'm just curious what every one else applied with and if you guys applied to any other programs. What where your numbers?

I got a adjusted score of 74% on my TEAS and a 90.7% on my reading, I have a 3.5 gpa, and all of my pre and co requisites completed. I got into the nursing program last year with the listed above requirement and had to declined due to a high risk pregnancy. I am still nervous for this upcoming fall semester. Has any one else experienced this and still got accepted? Also has anyone attended in information session on what exactly to expect time wise in the programs, such as how many days a week will be need on campus?

I'm right there with you. Although second semester may have harder material, it's probably best to get our feet wet and know what workload we are getting into rather than overworking ourselves and flunking out. Hopefully we end up in some of the same classes!

For those of you who havent received a letter, CALL the admissions office at takoma park and ask! I called today to ask and turns out my admission letter was lost in the mail. They told me to check my post office and when that came up empty, they emailed me my forms to accept the seat! I promise you that's the best way to know. Deadline to submit forms is Monday June 11. Admissions office closes at 5pm today!

Hey guys! I haven't gotten anything in the mail and I wanted to know how to confirm? How did you guys confirm your spot in the nursing program? I called admissions couldn't get to them.

I know others had to call the admissions office because letters were lost in the mail. I know last year the admission office did make follow up calls to confirm admission even after the deadline. So don't stress too much. But do try to confirm with the admission office will probably be your best choice.

Hope everyone has been able to receive their acceptance letter through mail or by contacting admissions. And those who haven't been able to I hope you can soon. Orientation is next week Wednesday the 20th! Crazy how only a week left till we're filled with overwhelming info already...LOL! But is everyone excited? Anxious? Nervous? Ready????? Hope I'm not the only one...lol.

Time is going by so quickly I wish it would slow down a little. I feel like it has been such a long time coming that I'm ready to start and be done. I do have several things to take care of before the start of the program which makes me more anxious then the program itself.

I go back and forth from feeling excited to feeling nervous! I am glad that orientation is next week. Hopefully, knowing more details will put my mind at ease a little bit.
