  1. msosa0814, Time is going by so quickly I wish it would slow down a little. I feel like it has been such a long time coming that I'm ready to start and be done. I do have several things to take care of before the start of the program which makes me more anxious then the program itself.
  2. Jay970280, I know others had to call the admissions office because letters were lost in the mail. I know last year the admission office did make follow up calls to confirm admission even after the deadline. So don't stress too much. But do try to confirm with the admission office will probably be your best choice.
  3. So happy you finally got answers and your acceptance letter amomani..
  4. I RECEIVED MY LETTER. I live in a single family home in southern maryland. Postal worker came to the door, and the letter was certified. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. FYI they need your decision by June 11 with a mandatory orientation of June 20.

  6. Garza1531, Yes only certified mail if accepted. If not accepted it will be regular mail. I know my mail lady sometimes still puts the certified mail in the box which can be super frustrating. !! UGH
  7. Amomani, I can understand being nervous getting into a vigorous program. I am currently trying to switch to night shift with in my job because I do want to work part time. So working part time, juggling a 7year old and 7 month old scares the mess out of me. I am hoping with my medical background will help me slightly.
  8. Yes the letter came certified mail. So you should have someone come to the door for a signature. :) I know when I went to the info session the explained that having all your prereq's are the main determining factor. I think when I went she said that they receive 250 applicants. But they normally send 180 acceptance letters because many decline.
  9. So for the most part the information session just covered the basics from the packet. The director was saying that they first choose applicants based off of the priority course completed first, then teas, the gpa. She also stated that although there was 250 applicant not every met the minimum requirements. They also send out 180 admission letters because many people don't reply or decline. SO DONT STRESS LADIES.
  10. I know last year I had my acceptance letter by the last week of May!! Hopefully we will hear something soon. I know I attended the information session last night and the director said they had 250 applicants.
  11. Hi Ana, I am also applying for the fall 2018. I was accepted last year and declined due to pregnancy. I am hoping to get into the program with the same requirements as I did last year. Still pretty nervous. Tabatha
  12. Hi Joyp79, Thanks for responding and putting some insight on what the schedule might look like. I planned on attending in information session in May. Goodluck!!!
  13. Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for the Fall '18 semester so I figured I start one so that we can all share and support each other while we anxiously wait for our acceptance letters. I'm just curious what every one else applied with and if you guys applied to any other programs. What where your numbers? I got a adjusted score of 74% on my TEAS and a 90.7% on my reading, I have a 3.5 gpa, and all of my pre and co requisites completed. I got into the nursing program last year with the listed above requirement and had to declined due to a high risk pregnancy. I am still nervous for this upcoming fall semester. Has any one else experienced this and still got accepted? Also has anyone attended in information session on what exactly to expect time wise in the programs, such as how many days a week will be need on campus?
