Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

Thanks Kristian! I was favoring that pair also!

Just out of curiosity, has anyone begun reviewing any notes or anything? I took A&P I last summer and A&P II last fall so I'm feeling a little rusty on some of those topics. I'm thinking that as soon as I'm done reading this leisure book I've been reading for the last couple weeks, I'm gonna start brushing up on some A&P on the side (although I may try to squeeze just one more leisure book in before the summer's over...)

Well I ordered the sketchers. Hopefully they work out. But I do like those nurse mates from the first link. They've got a bit of style to them.

I haven't done anything with A&P and I've lost a lot of what I've learned too. I was watching a lot of medical type shows on Discovery Health & Fit and others. That actually helped. My last A&P class ended at the end of 2010.

I was thinking about reviewing A & P. Took A & P 2 last summer. I need a review session, it's sad how much I've lost.

I think the Sketchers will work out. I really like the style.

I'm not in the frame of mind to review A & P on my own, right now. Perhaps after orientation. Maybe we could do a few review sessions together before classes start?

Thanks for the links Nikki! Every few dollars saved counts! :)

Marissa, I'm totally up for a group review for A&P! I still have all of my notes and objectives from both I and II plus some flashcards that were extremely helpful for those identification labs. Maybe when we get together before orientation we can decide if/when that's something we'd all like to do?

Have you guys heard something about needing to be keen on your A&P when we start? I'd be up for review but I only have my textbook, no notes. I had all the models/slides labelled on my computer. Not sure I have that anymore but it is easily obtained from the Germantown SLC if you bring in a flash drive.

No, I didn't hear anything. I think the girls just want to be prepared. Maybe we should pop on the other Montgomery boards and see what current students think about it.

Does anyone know how what time the clinicals usual start/end? I'm thinking of doing the two 5-hr shifts/wk but am not sure what time they'd be at and I need to start thinking about childcare options.

Where did you see info. re: shifts for clinicals? I've seen you guys mention a handbook, but I haven't looked into yet. Is that where you're getting your info? If so, do you have the link?
