Montgomery College, Fall 2011, 1st semester students

Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

No luck yet. We're still looking, but we don't want to settle. We need a 1bd/1ba in the Downtown Silver Spring/Takoma Park area, with all wood floors, w/d, gas range and that accepts 3 animals. And, it has to be less than $1,200/mo. Thanks for checking, though.

I was planning on parking in the West Garage on campus, near the Arts Center, and then walking to the coffee shop from there. I don't want to have to worry about parking twice.

I agree, I don't want to park twice and whichever is the shortest walk to where the orientation will be held is probably the way to go. I just hope it isn't morbidly hot out that day like it is fixing to be today and the next few days.

Finding a place to rent with all wood floors and 3 animals would be tough, even if it didn't have the other amenities you seek. Animal nails are known to ruin wood floors. A friend of mind always comment on how good mine are becuase her dogs have scratched hers up.

We should exchange cell numbers/emails in case we (I) get lost and for future reference. Any ideas how we can do that without the whole world being able to see our info on the thread?

There are only 3 left in stock in my size. I'm tempted to buy. Amazon has a 30 day return period from delivery. Do you think these will be ok?

Nikki, I really like those. If it's a great price, why not get it? You'd still get good use out of them, right?
