Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).
Hi Everyone!
Glad I found this thread, wish I had found it before orientation. I go for registration on the 28th and other than getting my lab/paper work and CPR class in order, I haven't done much prepartion/purchasing supplies. I have been pricing books and contacting people in the year before us to see what I can borrow but i think I am going to wait to see what they say at registration.
Just wanted to say hi and looking forward to starting this program with you guys.

Hi Travelista, welcome!
I haven't purchased any supplies/equipment, waiting until after registration. We've all gotten some great deals on books @ amazon, ebay and textbooks.
Glad you found us and looking forward to meeting you!
I asked about MMR (since my follow-up for the vaccine will be after the deadline) and PPD.
Here's D. Matthews reply:
You present the report on the current vaccine given and submit proof of the next one as completed. Submit copy of the chest xray report and complete the positive PPD document next year.
For MMR, is it proof of the next vaccine or positive titer? I interpret her reply as a 2nd vaccine needed. What do you guys think? Andrea might have a clearer answer.
I'm confused by that Kristian. Did you ask this becuase you didn't have immunity to rubella or something? Or are you asking to see if we need vaccines as an adult with a positive titer? I sure wish they made all of this stuff clearer so we aren't all so confused.
Change of plans for me today. I had to take my toddler back to the doctor because he is still extremely fussy and not eating. They did a strep test on him and it came back positive. They also confirmed his breathing was rapid which is why I brought him in on Sat, when they cleared him. Ugh. Then we got a cxr for him since DH has pneumonia, even though his lungs sound clear. So now I am waiting on results and have to go back in to get antibiotics for him. My oldest gets picked up from camp at 3:30 and once I get back from the doc my little one will be going down for nap. So if I go after 3:30 I will be stuck in traffic so I guess I will wait another day. It sucks but I gotta get my little one healthy and eating again.
