Thanks Kristian! Your doggie is adorable!! Is he/she a Bichon? I have a 9 yr old Cocker Spaniel named Sammy that I've had since he was just 8 weeks old. How time flies...lol

Thanks! Yes, he's a Bichon. Yeah, that cute face has melted our hearts all these years. We've had him since he was 10wks old. His name is Izzi and he'll be 8 on the 24th. We were just talking about how those yrs flew by.

Hey girls,

Thanks for keeping me and my family in your thoughts. My sister goes for her CT scan tomorrow and meets with the surgeon on Monday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well.

I didn't know you guys were on Facebook, either. I think I'm the only Marissa Gandee on there, but there's a picture of me and my partner, Beth on my profile page.

That's so exciting that you guy have dogs, too! We have two rescue pit bull mixes named Lucy and Greta. Lucy's super laid back and Greta's very hyper. They make quite a pair.

Is anyone else getting Stafford loans/grants for the school year? I know you guys are getting in-county tuition, but I was just curious. I just got my award notice online for Subsidized Stafford loans and I'm also going to apply for unsubsidized loans, since I'll need an additional $1,100 per semester to cover tuition and fees. I really wish we could find a place in-county.

I was wondering whether or not you girls were on FB a while back, but didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable asking...

Aren't dogs great? I'm fond of all animals and prob. would have a zoo/rescue facility if I had the time and $. Even on crappy days, my dog always manages to make me smile/laugh.

No loans for me. Congrats on getting awarded! Keep optimistic about finding a place. Since I now know what you're looking for, I may be more helpful.

Hi girls-

Nikki- yes it's MC nursing skills simulation lab. The Spark Chart has all sorts of quick reference material for clinicals, I don't know exactly what's on the chart though. (B & N has it for around $5.)

I got your request and now we're friends! Thanks for starting the group, I'll join ASAP. Gotta run back out...

GM! I was looking over our list of clinical facilities to decide which 3 to choose...National Naval Medical has a nursing internship and I was very interested in the nurse corp. Did some more research and found out I would miss the cut off age by the time I graduate. I'm bummed about that...kicking myself for not having gone back to school sooner. I don't know if you girls have an interest in being a Navy nurse...but ck it out. Sorry, can't post a link to career page, sites down.

I tried your link Krisitian and it didn't work. It said service unavailable. I really want to work with kids/babies. I was eyeing Children's and they have some good options for internships and such too.
