Glad you had fun Andrea. Did you get the email in your MC email account? I don't know who Mrs. Robinson is. I don't have her for any of my classes. But I would assume info would have been posted for all.

I finished 14 and started 15 last night. I wish the chapter review tests weren't so long. I think it is a bit overkill. Hoping I can take the review for 15 while the kids play and do 16 while Liam naps. 17 tonight. Liam has speech again this morning so that might interfere with my plan.

I just ordered the prestige nurse assistant clipboard since the NU110 syllabus says we need a plastic clipboard. It has a bunch of medical/nurse notes on it with a calculator.

I just ordered the same one Nikki. I also ordered a digital voice recorder and a nursing bag. I HATE that I just spent another $100 on stuff for school and I haven't even gotten my uniform yet!! But I keep telling myself it's all stuff that's either required or that I'm sure is going to help me stay organized. Sounds like I'm trying to justify the spending, right? Yeah....we'll see if I can convince my hubby it was justified too lol

My phone has a voice recorder on it but I don't think I would use it. What is the nurse bag?

Did you guys enroll in the mentee program? I got mine today. Apparently there is a preview day on Friday. Not sure if it is just the lab or what. The lab instructor sent it to me when she gave me my mentor's contact info. I can't go anyway because Lucas has sneak peek (meet the teacher/classroom) at school then.

Hi girls, I had a bunch of things to do today. I was feeling fine when I got up this morning and so far, so good. Glad you had a good time, Andrea. I'd love to see that video clip.

I also got the email from Prof. Robinson. Isn't she the coordinator for 1st sem. students as well as an instructor? That was a very endearing email.

Where'd you guys order the clipboard? I had a feeling we'd need one...

I plan to submit the paperwork for the mentor/mentee program next wk. I welcome all the mentoring I can get!

My phone has a voice recorder on it also but the battery dies so quickly and if I get a call or text while it's recording, it stops recording. This one is an Olympus, it got great reviews on Amazon and I figure I'll use it for the next 2 years. I'm kind of slow at taking notes cuz I like them to be organized, not just chicken scratch (which is how I tend to write when I'm in a hurry) so if I can record the lectures and then take notes at home, that would be really helpful I think.

The nursing bag is the same one I've been debating on getting. The Nurse Mates one. I got it on Amazon also. Hopefully I get it before Wednesday; that's coming from the same company as the clipboard so I should get them both at the same time. The voice recorder is coming from another company and I would be SOOO happy if I got it tomorrow or Saturday, but I doubt it.

I haven't enrolled yet. I want to. I was going to turn in my form on Monday. I didn't know they'd place you so early but that's a good sign. I wonder if Monday will be too late??

I ordered the prestige medical clipboard w/ calc. from Amazon and while I was cking out, thought what the heck, I'll order a steth. hip clip as well. Hubby gave me a giftcode...saved $5.

I hope Monday isn't too late to join the mentoring program.

I didn't get a chance to work on the chapts. today. I'm about 3/4 of the way into ch. 17.

FYI, I just got an email from Prof. Mansir to read the ch. on Communication (NU110) for Monday's class...

Hi....i saw the notes too for 4 pm class...does she mean just that class or all who take lecture?

Where does one find mentor info?

Hoping to do AtI test tomorrow before Irene hits....and printing all docs tonite...shoes arrive tomorrow too...pricy! For ugly white clogs:)

I didn't have much time to work on the chapters today either. A lot of preparation for the "big storm" this weekend. Cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. Stocked up on batteries, water, dry foods, and a couple new puzzles and board games to play in case the power goes out. Also went to the library where we checked out about 20 books! All for Dominic...again, in case the power goes out. I think we're pretty set lol

I did finish Ch. 14. I'm going to try to finish 15 and 16 before midnight, that way I'll just have 17-19 to work on tomorrow. I want to spend the weekend reviewing for Monday's class (if we even have it after this storm) and making flash cards of the math concepts I need to remember. I've already gone through 2 pencils with all this math!!! I have my handy dandy sharpener and huge eraser with me at all times lol

You guys really think we are going to get hit badly with Irene? I was thinking we'd just get some heavy rain with high winds but nothing too bad. I haven't prepared at all. I guess maybe I should????

I was actually quite productive today. I just finished 18. I'm gonna take a shower and then start 19.
