Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

Just finished the chapter review test. I missed 9 and all because of stupid, careless mistakes. All the more reason to use a calculator!

Where is everybody?

Well I got through ratios and proportions last night. Finally I understand! Still making stupid mistakes. I need to relearn my multiplication table. LOL.

About to head out to get the boys hair cuts. Will be going to gtown campus this afternoon to get ID. Hope it goes smoothly. Then I will be packing for Great Wolf.

Found my parking permit! It was buried under some old mail lol. I LOVE that it's purple! :)

I did an extremely thorough cleaning of our bedroom today...including vacuuming under all the furniture, cleaning the window screens, polishing everything and re-organizing every drawer in the desk and dressers. Trying to get really ready for school :) But now...I. AM. TIRED. We're going out to dinner with my stepdad tonight so I'm going to go rest while Dominic watches a movie before I start to shower and get ready.

Hey Nikki, I decided to follow Andrea's lead and got totally focused on cleaning and doing laundry yesterday. Cleared of the dining room table, dusted just about every room and furniture in the house, cleaned windows, mirrors, photo frames, cabinets, doors, baseboards...it took a few hrs but all worth it. I feel better now that my house is cleaner. IMO, the best invention in a cleaning product is Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser. It's an amazing product, I wish I had gotten it sooner. Today's agenda...vacuuming and mopping. Thank's for the inspiration Andrea!

I plan to get my ID before Fri and begin the calculations assignment very soon.

Wow Andrea you got so much done! Glad you found your permit.

Now that we only have about 2 wks before school, I feel rushed to have things done. Well, at least I can cross off house cleaning on the list of still 1/2 a dozen things to do. Have fun @ dinner!

Thanks Kristian! Glad to hear I spread the housecleaning bug lol! I just get so worried that my house is gonna fall apart once I don't have as much time to dedicate to cleaning it; I figured going into the semester with everything neat, clean, and organized will make the rest of the semester that much easier to keep up with (and keep my family from too much chaos! lol).

I also plan to get my ID before the week is over and I hope to start the Calculations book by tomorrow night. I'm beginning to feel a bit of urgency now that we're down to 13 days!!! We should be hearing from Fentons soon....hopefully by early next week. I still need to get shoes! I have to try to get that done this weekend. I don't think we have anything planned so I'll have to pencil that in! I want to do my back to school shopping sometime this week too. I believe tax-free school shopping is this week...8/14-8/20. I wonder if that includes clothes shopping? LOL

Nikki, have a great time at Great Wolf! Let me know if you think it's worth it. I think I'd like to take Dominic there sometime. It looks like a blast!

Ok just found out the tax free week is from 8/14-8/20 and includes clothing priced at less than $100 and footwear priced at less than $100. Looks like I'm going shopping!!! :)

Cool, thanks for the info! I'd forgotten about tax-free wk. Oohh yeah, things will get chaotic in all our homes as we get deeper into the semester.

Got my ID. Feels like I was in and out within 10 minutes and that includes getting the sticker.

We are leaving in the morning. I have yet to pack. Decided to take some time away after I got my ID. I needed some alone time.

Well, I just tried to order the ATI stuff and when I clicked on "Process Card" (once again) it said "System Error" and gave me their phone #. I tried again with another card...same thing. WHY DO THESE THINGS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!?! It's honestly freaking me out a little bit. Anyway, I'll try again in the morning and if it still doesn't work I'll have to call them. Annoying....!!!
