hi everyone! i recently took the TEAS V for Fall '14 at Montefiore SON (formerly Hopfer). No results yet (It wasn't on a comp so there's a wait to get my grades). Anyone else hoping to get accepted?

I also applied to Montefiore and can't stand the waiting... I also applied to WCC... I just found out I was accepted. My first choice in Montefiore. Do you think they'll tell us on May 10th?
Best of luck!

I also applied to Montefiore (I feel like there are a lot of threads for this school). I scored Advanced on the TEAS (90%). I already got into Nassau CC's nursing program, and will most likely attend there, but I'm also impatiently waiting for Monte (and College of New Rochelle) before I finalize that decision. Hopefully in the next few weeks we'll know.

Around that time I'm guessing. I just don't know if they'll email us or use slow-mail ??
With ur score, u def got a spot! I wished I scored as high as urs. Now I can only pray n hope to b chosen ??
Congratulations on your score.
Monte said that they need to wait for the other applicants to take the TEAS May 9th. Maybe we'll find out the 10th? Fingers crossed.

Thanks. I'm sure both of you will be fine.
Yeah, I hope we find out by then, that would be great. Not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but I think in the past they sent out emails, right? I hope so, I hate waiting for letters.
I see you got into WCC, congrats! If you also get into Monte, which do you think you'd choose? I'm in at NCC, so if I get in at Monte, I'm not sure. NCC is a couple thousand less, closer to my home, new facilities, etc, but Montefiore is an excellent hospital, so I'm assuming the clinicals will be great (that's not to say that NCC doesn't have great affiliations). Hmm...

Both programs are great and competitive. I keep thinking that Monte is choice 1, but I really have enjoyed WCC and my classes (not as much Statistics) and WCC is closer to my home than Monte. Either way, I'm sure to be happy, but I really want to get into Monte.
When did you take the TEAS?
I heard people received phone calls and were invited to interview for their seat... Is that so? Or are we just in conditional on physical and background check?
@westchesternurse r u talking bout WCC or Monte when u mentioned receiving calls for interviews?

I took the TEAS in February at Adelphi, had my scores sent to Monte. Haven't heard anything about interviews though. I searched previous threads for Hopfer, don't remember if I saw anything about interviews, but who knows.
I heard WCC called to ask if people wanted day or evening program or were asked if they wanted to move from lpn to rn. Perhaps these people were on the cusp and needed an interview to differentiate between similar credentials between candidates?
