Montefiore SON 2014/2015

Anyone applied to Monterfiore SON for Fall 2014 or evening program Spring 2015? How quick is the process? What TEAS scores will they accept?

You got accepted into WCC? You're not going to go there? Why if you don't mind me asking? As for monte, don't they take from the top scores as well? If people are getting 90's in the TEAS, then there's no chance of me getting in this September. I have all my pre req's done . So I don't know. I guess in another month I will know my fate. Lol:yes:

I wanted WCC evening but they got rid of it. So I'm waiting on Monte which would give me then option of days or nights. WCC is awesome, but the hours may not work for me. I feel as though Monte has a farther reach than WCC and has more competition from outside of Westchester County. I did well on the TEAS, but not good enough to give me a sense of confidence. My GPA is good, but they don't look at it. My letter was strong, but from an adjunct professor. My fingers are crossed.

U scored proficient?

On the phone, Monte asked if I had taken the TEAS and wanted to know if I scored at least proficient. I speculate you need at least proficient to be considered based on that conversation.

Hello Ladies,

I also wanted to apply to WCC but saw that they ended their evening program which does not help of you work full time days. The only other programs I know that have evening weekend are BMCC, Beth Isreal, NYC College of Technology (CUNY). I also know Adelphi Manhattan Campus has evening weekend but the require so many pre-req's its ridiculous. LIU in Brooklyn also has evening/weekend but they are very pricey and also has more pre-req's. I wish more schools were designed for working students.

WCC is every fall? Or do they have spring semester too? I need a plan B just in case Monte rejects me. Which I'm praying they're not.

Thats so amazing, I told you to hang in there and stay positive and look, you got in!!! Congrats!!!! Thats wonderful. Keep us posted on the process please. Its good that they dont focus just on high TEAS scores.. They look at everything. U must be so thrilled.

awww youre welcome sweety, enjoy the moment. im very happy for all who got accepted, im sure its a great feeling and we all worked hard taking all those pre-req's so we deserve it. I really hope I am next. will def keep in touch. thanks..and Congrats again..

WCC has a fall and spring daytime class. They no longer have a spring evening class... It's now daytime.
