Anyone applied to Monterfiore SON for Fall 2014 or evening program Spring 2015? How quick is the process? What TEAS scores will they accept?
Can you take the TEAS without A&P 1&2?
Monte advises incoming students to take as many pre-reqs as possible before applying cause of the work load. Also, students need pre-approval before taking pre-req classes somewhere else during the program. If not, you'll have to take the pre-reqs at Mercy and classes cost about $500/per credit.
Have u taken any other pre-reqs? it has to total up to 2.70 GPA minimum.
Waiting on the packet. But will most likely defer. I think the evening option will work better for me. Then I can start knowing everything is completed to the best of my ability. I'll take credits towards BSN at Mercy during winter and summer sessions when Monte isn't in session.
Sounds like a plan ? good luck!
Hi. Has anyone heard when they will be making the decisions for the remainder of seats at Montefiore SON? I scored advanced and have not heard yet, have all my pre-req with GPA over 3.1. Do they base it on the TEAS only?
Hi. I think the TEAS score is just 1 factor on how they decide admission. I scored proficient along w others on this forum. Some haven't received any decision while I was lucky to receive an admission already.
I think y'all should receive an decision soon coz the TEAS testing dates are over. Good luck to u n to all that r still waiting.

WCC has diff pre-reqs than Monte. You have to have i think at least a 75/80 on HS chem to get considered to take the TEAS. But if you have college credits towards Monte's pre-reqs along w/ a HS or college chem then you have a better chance.
WCC & St. Paul's were my last resort coz of the extra classes and min. grades they require to even to b considered to take the TEAS or HESI. Thank God Monte accepted me.
