Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

I believe you but who knows. My situation was definitely not a repeated question and she left me a message stating something completely different than what she told me over the phone when I called to confirm and instead of giving me the correct response, she decided to get defensive and rude.

I have to agree with Brooklyn_Nursing26 she’s been extremely helpful and courteous, I think it might of just been bad timing since it’s closer and closer to more tests being given out and phones going crazy.

So sorry to hear that! As we are all humans, I am sure you caught her at a bad time. She's actually very helpful and nice. I believe she is currently working with the upcoming Fall students and Spring 2020 applicants. Definitely a lot on her plate.

Yes, I did at Cochran and submitted my score to Monte. They said it was a good score so I am not going retest.

Wow. I didn't know you can do that. I though each school requires students to take their own tests.

In case anyone is wondering, the Kaplan exam is the same exam for both schools, I mean literally the same (at least when I took them). I took the exam for both schools the questions/answers were the same, word for word.

So you have to take the test twice or can you take your score and submit it to the another school?

Nope you don’t have to. You can submit your score to Cochran if you wanted to and not have to take it

This is true. Just try to get a printout from Monte. I didn't get my Monte printout in time so I had to take it again for Cochran which I really didn't care because I was trying to beat my own score anyway lol
