Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Its the same kaplan exam so they give you a choice of retest or not. Hopefully 76 is good enough as they said. It depends on how well students perform this time.

Yup. If I had known that beforehand, I would've used one school's exam to prepare for the other school's exam ahaha. In the end it didn't matter I suppose lol

I wrote a post about this in Spring 2019's thread so you can look it up. It was all physiology. I do remember they asked where digestion takes place, where gas exchange takes place, but that's all I remember lol

I remember the digestion question because I got that dumb*** question wrong uggh ? Make sure you know it's the small intestine and NOT the stomach lol I'm still mad about that question! lol

?definitely will remember that)) I just don't get the part why they asking us to use Kaplan book, if it's soooo useless? They helping Kaplan to bring their book sales up or something????

Hey, for those who took the test through Monte how long did it take for them to give you a test date? I sent my test registration form and money on Monday thinking I was going to receive something by now. I called her and she said she hasn’t received it yet. But my package was delivered...

I submitted my application in person on 6/27 then on 7/8 I got invitation for Kaplan, by 7/15 they received my response for dates available and like a week ago I got my date. I'm scheduled for 8/6. So basically the whole process takes about 1 month.

When they received your response for the dates did you get a test confirmation that same week? I’m just confused how usps is saying my package was delivered on my end but She’s saying she doesn’t see anything for me. ??‍♀️

I did expedited shipping they received it on 7/15 (also said that it was delivered) but I received responce on 7/19.
