Hello everyone! I applied for Monroe College's Accelerated program for the Winter 2023 cohort. I was wondering if anyone heard back or if you're a current students could describe your experiences in the program. I received an 85 on the TEAS scores, accumulatively 3.8 GPA and 3.3 on the prerequisites. Thank you and best of luck to you all!

Hi did you hear back?

Does anyone know the cost of tuition for the entire program?

I am currently attending the program and its about 7,500/semester for full time. If you have all the pre-requisites, its going to 4 semesters from this year for the program. A lot of us had to take pre-requisites so its going to be 5 semesters for us.

The $7500 is without any financial aid - If you have financial aid, it can be lower.

They allow you to do installment payments - starting around $1,200. For the first installment, they ask about $1,500.

To get an estimate, you can multiply $7,500 with the number of semesters you have to attend.

Anyone please share their experience in the ABSN program? Do you recommend?

First semester you need to do the pre-reqs so basically you won't start the program the first semester. Also, the program has been extended to 4 semesters of nursing courses instead of 3. In total 5 semester that you need to do. Lastly, be ready to clear your schedule from Monday to Friday from 8-5 for the nursing classes. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for the info @nelly1025

Hi everyone, I was hoping to find more info about Monroe's ABSN program through past threads. I wanted to know things like how big was your cohort size? how are the professors ? where did you guys do clinicals ?

Can you guys share your expert here so far as students?? I'm pretty much accepted I did well on my TEAS and have been communicating daily with my admissions rep. My concern is the bad reviews I've been seeing online about this specific nursing program. They said they don't even have real clinicals or enough and the program is self taught.
