Monroe College Bachelors of nursing program

Hey everyone. I’m currently starting my application process for Monroe college Bachelors of nursing program, Fall 2021. I’m quite nervous. As I’m an average student, I’m on my last year of high school. I don’t have the best grades but I said, hey let me give it a shot. Has anyone ever applied there ? How hard was it getting accepted ??  After submitting your application and doing your interview, how long did it take to get a reply from them if you were accepted or not ? Also, What did they ask in the interview questions ? What is school like there ? What’s the workload like and professors ? I really want to be accepted. Any advice and information anybody has would be great ! Thank you.

That’s great. I love hearing good news. One step closer to being an awesome nurse ??. When did you do your interview? I want to see the typical time that you get a decision after doing it. Again congrats ??.

I had my interview this Monday so it took about 2-3 days

-Why I want to become a nurse/ study nursing ? 
- Tell me a little about yourself. 
- What makes me unique 

- What are my strengths ? 

- What is something you thing you need to work on and why ? 
 

- Talk about a stressful time in your life and how you handled it. 
 

- Talk about a class you did good in and why do you think you aced it ? 
 

- Talk about a class you failed and why you think you failed and how did you fix this problem. 
 

- What do you think a nurse does ? 

Some questions were raised based on what my answers were so for example if you say that you enjoy cooking she may ask what food do you enjoy cooking. That’s a bad example but you get the point. Make sure to ask questions afterwards. Good luck everyone. 


 

I had my interview, it really wasn't as bad as I thought. it went really well and they asked me the same questions you mentioned. 

We should hear back from them by next week for sure. You first since your interview was a few days before mine.

Yes mine was Wednesday in the afternoon. I’ve being going crazy ?. I’ve being checking my email constantly, my spam, logging into my portal to see if the status has changed. I believe we will hear next week like you said. I don’t expect anything on the weekends but I’ll keep you posted. I’m glad your interview went well.
